W.J. Contracting Corp was the General Contract for the Gucci Premium Outlet at Woodbury Commons, NY. W.J. completed approximately 10,500 sf of retail space and installed high-end interior finishes, including new mechanical systems, new millwork and new electrical system. W.J. Contracting was also responsible for the installation of the new exterior facade. This project was completed within the expedited time for their grand opening. Every aspect of the project had to be assimilated into a strict corporate branding and project implementation structure. A major upgrade — and a strategy for Gucci as like other retailers, to capture a larger piece of the thriving luxury goods market. This one-year renovation was completed in 2009.
